Maximum Healing
Your East West guide to Natural Health
By Mark Dana Mincolla, Ph.D.

The result of living a materialistic, externally focused culture is that we have lost our belief that we can affect our own healing. Instead we think that only an external agent, a doctor in most cases, can fix us when we're sick. Yet study after study, as well as the many personal histories being published today, show that people who take an active role in their own health care protocols tend to have far more positive results than those who don't. Again the problem involves changing the beliefs which denigrate our subtle energy by denigrating our own experiences, feelings, and institutions...

                                                                - Mark Dana Mincolla, Ph.D.

The theory that carbohydrates contribute more to such ills as heart disease and obesity than do fats has not been popular; we don't find "low starch" emblazoned across the packages of our favorite foods. Yet more and more actual case studies and books are suggesting that a change in basic eating habits may be beneficial.

By combining whole-person, Eastern, and Western medicinal techniques, Mincolla leads readers on a body/mind/spirit path out of the low fat muck in which we are stuck. An in depth survey helps identify an individuals constitutional  type, addressing persona, affinities, aversions, and physical symptoms. Each type is then further characterized to facilitate healing balance through natural medicines and (the best of all) actual recipes/menus that are tailored  to individual systems. It's almost as good as a personal session with the author.

The Tao of Ch'i;
Healing with the Unseen Life Force
By Mark Dana Mincolla, Ph.D.

The Tao of Ch'i; Healing with the Unseen Life Force by Mark Dana Mincolla, Ph.D., is a natural, self-help healing book that expands on the whole-istic message in its apologia entitled The Wu Way: A Path to Natural Healing.

The Tao of Ch'i maintains that the matter (material) biased Newtonian foundation that presently governs all our perceptions about life and healing, is both obsolete and in the process of being completely uprooted. In its place, it muses, we'll soon find the long misunderstood, "far ahead of its time," Einsteinian energy = matter model which, The Tao of Ch'i insists, represents the consummate unifying "whole-istic" reality, as it integrates both energy (unseen life forces), and matter (seen life forces).

Consistent with Taoist tradition, The Tao of Ch'i asserts that all material healing begins at subtle unseen energy levels. Moreover, it offers its readers a series of specific strategies for balancing (healing) their life forces (ch'i). To further prove its energy healing contention, The Tao of Ch'i employed a "Kirlian like" Computerized Aura Imaging Camera to capture more than thirty "before and after" force field photographs. The remarkable Polaroid aura photos displayed within this text graphically reveal human energy changes produced by, and thus intimating the profound healing potentials of foods, natural medicines, human touch, and light and sound vibrations.

The Tao of Ch'i will forever alter your view of material reality. What's more, you will find its message both powerful and challenging: "The time is at hand when each of us must at least fulfill our evolutionary destiny to become more fully aware of the realities and potentials of life at the subtlest unseen energy levels!"

The Wu Way
A Path to Natural Healing
By Mark Dana Mincolla, Ph.D.

The oldest cultures acknowledged an implicit order in the universe, an interconnectedness among all things in heaven and on earth. Often referred to as the "flow of nature" or "the way," this universal order also defines the concept of "right living." Modern humanity, however, has departed from this natural way.

Mincolla, founder of Holistic Health Inc. in Cohasset Massachusetts, based his book on the 60,000 consultations he has done over the last two decades as a holistic practitioner. His observations led him to the belief that although we are all equipped with a capacity for profound healing, this vital connection has been severed. By living apart from the Wu Way, we gave lost touch with "the subtle forces of nature, including the basic nature of our own body, mind and spirit, and their relationship to the Earth/Universe."

He divides his book into three major sections, each dealing with the body, mind and spirit. "The Unnatural Body" is followed by "The Wu Way to a Natural Body", "The Unnatural Human Mind," precedes "The Wu Way to a Natural Mind," and so on. Through this point-counterpoint approach, Mincolla details our disharmonious ways and their effects and then provides comprehensive recommendations and techniques to counteract and heal the diseases of our times. The Wu Way presents a series of comprehensive dietary and wellness recommendations which include muscle tolerance techniques (Life Force Testing), mental and emotional awareness exercises, spiritual visualization, and meditation techniques.

Reminding us that true wellness comes only as a product of harmonization with natures subtle but profound laws. Mincolla brilliantly exposes our "de-evolving" divorce from nature, covering issues from pollution, diet-related illness, and the general deterioration of human health in body, mind and spirit.

"The Wu Way" is a guide to natural, personal transformation. Mincolla offers it with the hope that by getting back in sync with ourselves and the forgotten healer within, we can begin taking the steps needed to heal our ailing planet.
